Venice, 9–11 December 2025
From 9 to 11 December 2025, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice will host the international conference “Italian Immigration to South America: A Historiographical Overview and New Research Perspectives”. Scholars from Italy, Brazil, Argentina and other Latin American countries will explore historical and demographic aspects of Italian migration, including identity, social networks, mobility, demographic change and emerging research sources. The event features thematic panels, meetings with associations, and presentations of archival and recent studies.
