The Italian Society of Historical Demography (SIDeS) is pleased to announce the opening of registrations for the online course “Basic Course in R for Historical Demography”. This course is designed to introduce participants to the R programming language, focusing on its applications in historical demography. Through lectures and practical exercises, participants will acquire the basic skills to perform descriptive analysis of demographic data and create graphical representations using R.
Classes will take place online from 3 pm to 5 pm on the following Fridays: June 16th, June 23rd, June 30th, July 7th, and July 14th.

Registration
Registration is free for all SIDeS members. Those not enrolled in SIDeS can simultaneously apply to join our society and attend the summer course.
