Applications are open until August 7 for the PhD program in Life Course Research.

All information regarding the 41st Cycle Call for Applications for the PhD in Life Course Research (academic years 2025–2028) is available at this link. A total of 27 fully funded positions are offered. Applications, including original research proposals, can be submitted until August 7, 2025, at 12:00 noon (CET).

The program promotes an interdisciplinary perspective on life course studies, integrating quantitative, psychological, biomedical, and demographic approaches. It lasts three years (from September 2025 to September 2028) and includes at least three months of research abroad, unless otherwise approved.

The PhD is supported by a consortium of about 29 Italian universities and involves more than 95 faculty members in its Scientific Board, offering a robust and high-quality research environment. Research proposals with a historical-demographic approach are especially welcome.
