This workshop aims to bring scholars from various fields in the humanities and social sciences together that study patterns and shifts in human mating behaviour using a broad range of historical and contemporary sources, such as matrimonial and contact advertisements from (historical) newspapers and magazines, as well as data from dating and marriage agencies, sites and apps.
